Verdict

The step up in trip may have been the reason VIKING HOARD improved on his previous starts since March and connections step the gelding up in trip once again. The four-year-old was also well-backed before the race indicating a big run was on the cards. The former Jim Culloty-trained Matin D'anjou makes his stable debut here under Patrick Mullins and can make his presence felt here along with the in form Mill Quest, winner here earlier this month.
