By Moohaajim out of an Elusive City mare and plenty of speed in pedigree. Better than result when 2¾L third of 8 to Chapelli in 5f novice here on debut, travelling strongly before fading late. Will improve.
By Dream Ahead out of a 1¼m winner and cost £70,000 as a yearling. Yard 4-46 with juveniles on turf this year, and this Two-Year-Old Trophy entry needs a market check on debut.
Full-brother to yard's smart two-year-old 5f winner Havana Grey, but he looked to have plenty to learn when last of four on debut at Hamilton early this month, when held back appreciably by greenness.
Similar form on first two starts, including when runner-up in a 5f novice here in May. Out of his depth in Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot, and this is more realistic.
Related to winners, and has run creditably on all three starts to date, most recently when a close third in a 5f novice at Windsor. Beginning to look exposed, however, and others look stronger here.
Iffraaj filly out of a winning half-sister to smart performer Poet Laureate. Half-sister Sorority failed to win, and she holds no big-race entries, but powerful yard is 4-11 with two-year-olds this season, and folly to ignore.
Half-sister to last year's Gimcrack winner Sands of Mali and smart sprint handicapper Kadrizzi. Entered in the Lowther Stakes here next month, and unlikely to want for know-how on debut.
Forecasts
World Order (2/1), Baldwin (3/1), Diamond Oasis (7/2), Flawless Jewel (9/2), Chynna (16/1), Havana Ooh Na Na (16/1), Dream of Honour (33/1)
FLAWLESS JEWEL represents the connections of last year's Gimcrack winner Sands of Mali, and is a half-sister to that speedy colt. She also has an entry in the Lowther Stakes here next month which suggests she has inherited that talent, and is taken to make a winning debut. Baldwin made a very promising start here last month, and appears the pick of those with experience ahead of the more exposed World Order.
