Has twice been withdrawn when conditions have been fast so any rain will help. Well positioned for the pace collapse last time when beaten by an improver, but hit with a 5lb rise for that and will not want this to turn tactical.
Hadn't won since 2015 until plummeting in the weights and winning at Bath in May. Not disgraced in a better race than this last week and has to go on the shortlist.
Dubawi filly is a half-sister to six winners including 7f two-year old Group 1 winner Termagent. Makes handicap/yard debut and the handicapper appears to have taken few chances.
Few positive signs so far, including her handicap debut, and she now moves up an extra furlong with her mark looking on the high side.
Forecasts
Aqua Libre (13/8), Lady Alavesa (15/8), Sary Arqa (11/4), Neat 'n Nifty (12/1)
Sary Arqa is interesting on her debut for a yard on the rise, but she has done little to warrant her current mark and AQUA LIBRE is preferred. The mare showed she is suited to rattling fast ground at Bath and came out of a class 4 last week with some credit. Lady Alavesa needs a strong pace to run at, as was the case last time, and that seems unlikely, but she would have to be upgraded if there is any rain.
- Aqua Libre
- Sary Arqa
- Lady Alavesa
