Takes another step down the grading ladder as handicapper continues to offer him a helping hand, wasn't disgraced in finishing midfield two starts ago but ought to have done better at Chelmsford last time. Risky, but chances if bouncing back.

Banging the door down and came very close at Doncaster last time, finding the line coming a stride or two too soon. Has gone well on a downhill track before, so shouldn't mind conditions, and looks one of the more likely ones.

Useful at best, on a fair mark these days and worth another try at 6f here given the fast pace he set at 7f last time. Is a C&D winner and could take some pegging back if allowed an easy lead.

Well beaten over 5f here in May and although he's won since then, it was under totally different conditions than he will face here (stiff finish, soft ground). Disappointing favourite last time and something to prove here.

Might have needed his last couple of runs after coming back off a short break, handles downhill tracks fine and won't ind the ground but possibly happier on artificial surfaces these days. Not discounted, but others preferred.

1-1 at the track, so has that as a positive, and comes into this of the back of a decent effort at Doncaster where he may have found 5f too sharp. Will appreciate a fast pace and expect to see him coming late on the scene.

Has been a model of consistency for much of the year, and did win a little race at Brighton back in May, so track shouldn't be an issue. However, does most of his running in lesser company and might find others a bit quicker tonight.

Beaten less than a length at Brighton last time but that was in a lower grade than tonight's contest and he's yet to win in 10 starts. May need a drop in grade before he gets on the scoresheet.

Verdict

Highland Acclaim has a leaders chance here but will need to shake off both Jeopardy John and Related SEPRANI makes plenty of appeal on that score, especially as she's proven on the track and she can come through in the final stages to score. George Dryden is another with track form to consider.
