Course speciallist that loves it round here. Ran well again last week off 1lb higher and is surely to be in the mix once again with his talented rider claiming a handy 5lbs.

Has run well here in the past but tough to know what to expect here on the back of a seven month absence. Likely to need the run and best watched today.

Very capable off this sort of mark but both her wins have come on artificial surfaces which is a slight worry on this quick ground.

Nine-year-old now who often attracts plenty of market interest as he's dangerously well handicapped. Often fluffs the start and it will be interesting to see if the money comes again on the back of a ten-month absence with cheekpieces added.

Has run well over this C&D on a couple of occasions in the past. Hasn't looked like she is ready to strike lately though and others are preferred once again. Cheekpieces go on first time.

Didn't show a great deal on handicap debut from this mark at Brighton last week. Could come on for that effort though in a weak contest and market check needed.

You can probably put a line through his last run having missed the break and always up against it. Had been in good form prior to that so could be a player in this field if bouncing back.

Has looked pretty quirky of late and got too far back before running on over C&D last time. Races from out the weights here and hard to fancy.

Forecasts

Jaganory (2/1), Quick Recovery (3/1), Amberine (7/2), Rio Santos (5/1), Angelito (11/1), Katherine Place (25/1), Spirit Of Ishy (33/1), Harlequin Rose (33/1)

Verdict

This won't take much winning and for that reason it's fairly easy to side with JAGANORY who goes so well here and ran well in a better race than this last week. He can bounce back to winning ways. Angelito returns from a ten month absence and he would pick this lot up and carry them on his old form so if that market screams his name, that should be noted.
  1. Jaganory
  2. Angelito
  3. Katherine Place
