Winner of 17 races and suited to fast conditions. Has been absent for seven months and doubtful he can match some of these for fitness.
Produced his best ever run on turf last week when outrunning odds of 66/1. This mark in weak company seems to be his level and another big run cannot be discounted.
Claimed out of a Redcar seller and down the field on stable debut when sent off favourite. The 6f trip may explain that and she tries this distance for the first time.
Drops in to this grade for the first time and having been denied a clear run at Newbury. Has flattered to deceive before and, having failed to attract support previously, it would be reassuring to see some market confidence.
130,000 gns son of Helmet has been gelded since his last sighting a year ago. Has barely beaten a rival in three starts and initial handicap mark seems cautious.
Can be a bit keen so the step up to 1m2f was always a risk and he clearly failed to stay. Return to this trip off a lower mark gives him a chance to deliver, providing the blinkers don't light him up.
His last two wins have come from marks of 55 and 56 so interesting back into that range this afternoon.
Six of his eight successes have come at Southwell. Runner-up in this 12 months ago off 9lb higher and seems to have been laid out to go one better.
Career got off to a good start as a juvenile, but he lost his way last autumn and he is still to get back on track.
Improved when stepping up to this trip at Wetherby and a 3lb rise for that narrow victory is to be expected.
Attractively weighted on his best 2017 form and stable's runners have been going much better lately than the stats suggest.
No show in four starts and has a seemingly impossible task from seven pounds out of the handicap on seasonal return.

Makambe (15/8), Havana Star (5/1), Moakkad (7/1), Spanish Mane (15/2), Rock Warbler (8/1), Majestic Stone (8/1), Black Medusa (10/1), Vigee Le Brun (12/1), Eponina (14/1), Shearian (16/1), Thornaby Nash (20/1), Pick A Little (33/1), Ms Tilly (33/1)
The three-year-olds Makambe and Black Medusa can have claims made for them down in this company, but SHEARIAN was second in this last year and is taken to go one better off a 9lb lower mark and having promised better to come last time. Thornaby Nash and Rock Warbler should be competitive from their marks, whilst Spanish Mane is not unduly penalised for her narrow Wetherby victory.
- Shearian
- Rock Warbler
- Spanish Mane
