Placed over 1m2f at Redcar (good-to-firm) in May but slightly disappointing subsequently, better effort this week at Pontefract in amateur handicap dropped in trip. Chance to build on that now.
Won just once in 17 starts (in September 2016) and yet to register in handicap company. Mark easing and last month's Hamilton third from 1lb hinted he'll take advantage soon.
Generally consistent performer who has six career wins on the AW compared to one on turf. Been running well enough in both spheres of late, without necessarily screaming of an impending win.
Won at Doncaster in April 2018 over 7f (good) from a mark of 80. Rating has tumbled since, but recent signs have been encouraging, including runner-up over 1m here last time off this mark in a stronger grade. Chance is there to be seen.
Power filly, cost €10,000 as a yearling. Dam a winner over a similar trip and half-sister to pattern level performer Icon Dream. Not shown much in three starts and needs to improve for switch to handicaps.
Has almost crept back down to her last winning mark having found life tough off higher marks since. Runner-up over C&D penultimate start after going off a 50/1 chance, beaten a nose. Poor effort since at Ripon and not the most reliable now at 10,
Third start for current handler having previously been trained by Tom Dascombe. Very lightly race last few years and appears to face a very tough task at the weights in search of first win.
Forecasts
Rock N Rolla (2/1), X Rated (9/4), Archipeligo (9/2), Zoravan (5/1), Bittersweet (10/1), Graceful Act (16/1), Bulge Bracket (100/1)
ZORAVAN was runner-up over 1m here last time off this mark in a stronger grade than this and, having won from much higher marks in the past, appears to be well treated now if showing similar form. X-Rated comes here off a positive showing at Pontefract and can join recent Hamilton third Rock N Rolla in giving the selection plenty to think about.
