Has made a good start, particularly on her second outing when a 5L winner over C&D (good to firm) last month. Was put firmly in her place under a penalty a Ripon last time and although surely better than that effort, she does have a little to prove.

Was a relatively rare debut winner for her trainer, so her performance at Lingfield (6f, AW) can probably be marked up a little as a result. It remains to be seen how strong that race was, however, and she will need improvement to back it up.

Made some improvement on her debut run when winning at Newbury (6f, good to firm) last time. Step up in trip looks likely to be a positive given how she stayed on there and with a smaller penalty than some, she could make a big impact again.

Comfortably held on both runs so far. Step up to 7f looks positive, but she is going to need some significant improvement on what we have seen to get involved in this line-up.

Came in for some support prior to a respectable debut, when 5½L fourth of 12 over 5f at Ripon last month. Was doing her best work towards the finish there and this step up to 7f looks a good move. Should finish closer this time.

Half-sister to 7f juvenile winner Blending, out of a 7f winning full-sister to 1m2f Group 3 winner Remote, also half-sister to top miler Kingman. Classy pedigree and from a top yard whose two-year-olds are at 31% this season. Should go well.

3,200gns foal, £8,000 yearling (not sold £14,000 two-year-old). Half-sister to 6f juvenile winner Prophesize, out of US 4.5f-5.5f winner (inc at two). Stable has not has a two-year-old winner in five seasons. Best watched on debut.

Sent-off at just 3-1 on debut when a 5L fourth at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) last month. Had traffic issues there, so may have finished closer. Should benefit for the experience and probably capable of having a greater impact this time.

Forecasts

Frisella (6/5), Cupboard Love (4/1), Iconic Choice (5/1), Quduraat (13/2), Miss Celestial (7/1), Crimean Queen (25/1), Doris Bleasedale (40/1), Lottie Deno (150/1)

Verdict

Cupboard Love has a bit to prove under her penalty after last time, but along with Miss Celestial, she can hardly be ruled out. ICONIC CHOICE carries a smaller penalty for winning last time and, with improvement likely over this trip, she could be the one for today. Doris Bleasdale looks a probable improver and a big run would not surprise, while Quduraat and the very interesting debutante Frisella are obvious potential contenders.
  1. Iconic Choice
  2. Doris Bleasedale
  3. Frisella
