Has returned from a break gelded looking much more the finished article and built on an eye-catching return with a victory on handicap debut last time. Slow away as in all his starts he won with a bit to spare (up 8lb); now has to produce on turf.
Made the most of an easy opportunity to win on her final juvenile start (odds-on favourite) but only won narrowly. That may have given an indication of her ability as she disappointed on her handicap debut return (raced feely); may do better in time.
Well positioned when winning over 7f at Epsom as a juvenile he's proving consistent this season without looking primed to win. All his best form has come when he's been prominently ridden but he does look vulnerable off this mark to improvers.
Returned from an 8 month break to run a sound race at Sandown a little unlucky within the race (didn't get a clear run when needed). Finished just behind Deadly Accurate (can reverse form) and sort to remain competitive off this mark.
Given a fair few races as a two-year-old and may not have a lot more to some as a three-year-old. Has run respectably in his two starts so far this year though (better than the result last time) although he has a little work to do off this mark.
Took a Redcar novice (6f) on his final juvenile start despite still showing signs of inexperience. Now gelded his two runs this year have shown plenty of potential with his Yarmouth run last time indicating more to come and he's in good hands.
Showed the value of an earlier Salisbury race that he was 7th in when winning here over 7f on his penultimate start. Coped well with a higher mark and his first run against older horses last time; now up in trip off same mark versus own age group.
Yet to really spark this year and connections appear unsure as to her trip at the moment. Had the run of the race over further last time out (7f) but lacked the pace to challenge and this trip and further will show her in a better light.

Courtside (5/4), Nicklaus (9/2), Chai Chai (5/1), Deadly Accurate (8/1), Ragstone View (12/1), Letsbe Avenue (16/1), Autumn Leaves (16/1), Dance Me (16/1), Blanchefleur (28/1)
Competitive enough for the grade and race that may well produce a couple who are better than this grade in the future. Courtside is an obvious contender here after his win with a fair bit to spare at Chelmsford last time but he has to prove himself back on turf and NICKLAUS looks a interesting alternative. His two runs this year have shown that he could be ahead of his mark here and he’s in very good hands. Both Deadly Accurate and Letsbe Avenue have races in them off their current marks while Ragstone View will appreciate this trip and a return to his own age group.
- Nicklaus
- Courtside
- Letsbe Avenue
