Promise on first two outings, and improved to land a 10-runner maiden at Lingfield last time by 6 lengths from Dr Smolder. Going the right way, and entitled to respect despite this tougher task.
Zoffany colt who was weak in the market, but shaped with plenty of promise when 2½L third of 7 to Certain Lad in minor event over C&D last month. Sure to improve, and likely to make a bold bid.
Gelded son of Zoffany. Dam never ran, but grand-dam won 5f listed race at Newbury as a two-year-old, so likely to be precocious, and yard has a good strike-rate here. Market will be informative.
Galileo colt out of multiple Group 3 winner Bewitched, and cost €200,000 as a yearling. Strong in the market when just denied in a similar race over C&D on debut, where he had Drogon back in third. Leading claims.
From family of smart performer Galeota and much improved from debut when second of 8 to Chuck Willis in 6f novice at Ayr last time. Will improve for step up to 7f, and each-way claims.
Evasive half-sister to 1m2f-1m5f winner Snowzain. Yard on scoresheet with juveniles this year, but this looks a stiff introduction, and others preferred.

PABLO ESCOBARR had Drogon behind when the pair started out in a similar event over track and trip last month, and while the latter looks open to significant improvement, Mark Johnston's well-bred colt is also likely to progress, and shades the verdict. Critical Data has a penalty to contend with, but won easily at Lingfield, and won't go down without a fight.
