Progressive on the AW (Fibresand/Polytrack) at sprint trips he's gradually finding his feet on turf. His latest run would have been his best so far, making plenty of the running away from the main pace; still looks well-weighted (nicely drawn).
Still only lightly raced and posted his best effort so far in a Redcar maiden handicap (trainer does well in such events) last time (wore first-time cheekpieces). That was his first try at 5f and he would be a player here but for his low draw.
Shaped well enough when trained in Ireland (Ger Lyons) but never ran over a trip this short and ran poorly on his debut for this yard (6f). Now brought back to 5f (first time) and drops two handicap grades but needs to show more to be supported.
Type this yard do well with but as yet she's proving hard to win with and has run too freely on a couple of occasions. The hood tried for the first-time on her last start is employed again; off a career-low mark but has work to do.
Still searching for her first win although this will only be her fourth run for this yard and they are gradually getting her on the right path. Drops into a 0-60 for just the second time and would be more interesting were it not for a poor draw.
Always a chance that she will show more in handicaps despite not offering much in three outings in minor events so far. Tried over 6f after a break last time and showed some speed so 5f should suit better; well drawn.
Stable has been rather quiet this year in comparison to previous seasons and this modest maiden has already been beaten in six handicap opportunities. Showed very little last time in a better grade but hard to support; blinkers on for first-time.
Has some form to her name (still a maiden) and was suited by the way the race was run last time (off the pace; struggled to land a blow). Visor now used for the first-time and would have a chance on her first two runs this season albeit a slim one.
Has shown some speed in minor events and now goes into handicaps off a basement mark which will give her far more chance of success. Could have been dealt a better hand with the draw though and stall 1 makes life very tough in this.

Forecasts
Scoundrel (2/1), Warrior's Valley (11/4), Mocead Cappall (11/4), Honey Gg (5/1), Cardaw Lily (13/2), Corton Lass (10/1), Super Florence (12/1), Lina's Star (25/1), Burmese Blazer (33/1), Angel Eyes (50/1), Pavarella Shoes (50/1)
The draw and therefore track position will play a part in this with WARRIORS VALLEY well positioned next to the rails to jump and run and gain his first win on turf having shown plenty of pace at Redcar last time. Both Scoundrel and Cardaw Lily are capable of winning in this company although neither are particularly well berthed here but in a weak race they could overcome that handicap. Super Florence comes from an excellent stable and it’s a surprise that she’s not been able to do better of this sort of mark. Pavarella Shoes has shown some speed in the past and may be worth watching in the market this time around.
- Warrior's Valley
- Cardaw Lily
