Won twice last year, but has been held off higher marks in two runs this time round. Inching back down the weights, but still looks vulnerable.

Has already registered wins at this venue and Brighton this season. Fourth of 10 at Chester off this mark last time, is generally running well and should get involved again

Has not won for some time, but shaped well over 6f at this track two starts ago. Went up 2lb for that and was not beaten too far at Windsor next time, being denied a clear run near the finish. Possibilities.

Returned to winning ways on good going over C&D last time and 3lb rise is not excessive. Faster ground would be a big cause for concern, however.

Losing run stretches back to July, 2016, and recent efforts have not been encouraging. Has dropped to an enticing mark, however, and may pop up at some stage.

Without a win after 10 attempts, but shaped quite well at Catterick in first-time cheekpieces on latest outing. Down to a career-low mark, is blinkered for the first time and has a positive jockey booking.

Remains a maiden after seven runs, but has shown ability on several occasions and ran creditably following a break at Nottingham last time. Looks sure to get his head in front at some stage.

Forecasts

Harry Beau (2/1), Wahaab (7/2), Takeonefortheteam (5/1), Kyllachys Tale (6/1), Bustam (6/1), Field of Vision (10/1), Briyouni (20/1)

Verdict

Harry Beau and Wahaab are two in-form runners who merit plenty of respect, but this could be fought out by the two three-year-olds at the bottom end of the weights. Takeonefortheteam has shown enough to suggest he can be competitive off this mark, but the vote goes to BUSTAM, who shaped well at Catterick last time, is down to a career-low mark and may be galvansied by first-time blinkers. Field Of Vision was a little unlucky last time and also enters calculations.
  1. Bustam
  2. Takeonefortheteam
  3. Field of Vision
