Won well at Musselburgh (5f, good) off a 6lb lower mark two starts back. Couldn't follow that up in a better race last time and a similar story is on the cards here.

Course winner who is still 5lbs higher than for his alst success at Ripon in May. Gone off the boil the last twice but would have a squeak in here if returning to his best.

Sprinter in form and won a shade cosily at Haydock last week off a 3lb lower mark. This race is much tougher however and more will be needed to follow up.

Won with authority when showing improved form at Haydock three weeks ago. Hit with a 6lb rise in the weights for that win but yard have been going great guns the last few weeks and is a leading contender once again.

Had a good year in 2017 and has shaped on two starts so far this year that he will be up to winning off this sort of mark. This is competitive though and others have stronger claims.

Was running well off higher marks earlier in the spring but has struggled quite badly on his last few runs. Mark is dropping and yard are adept at getting one ready on any given day so market check is advised.

Previous C&D winner who had a good year in 2017. Three disappointing runs so far this year but he should be getting to peak fitness and has fallen to an attractive mark. Market move would be interesting.

Hasn't won for four years and recent efforts have been fairly average. Mark has fallen as a consequence and his rider is much more used to this kind of event than the others which could make him interesting.

Took advantage of his drop in the weights to win at Nottingham (5f, good to firm) two weeks ago. Raised 6lbs for that but more than capable off this sort of mark and is a leading contender once again.

Won off 1lb higher than this at Hamilton back in August. Three runs so far this year have not amounted to much at all and cannot be considered until showing plenty more. Others preferred.

Was rated in triple figures at his peak but those days seem a distant memory now. Visor failed to work when well behind Paddy Power here last time. Mark continues to fall but hard to be confident unless money really comes for him.

Another who used to be pretty classy on his day. Won off 3lb lower at Pontefract back in April but has struggled off higher marks since. Should run his race but may find younger legs too quick. Visor goes on first time.

Went very close at Ayr last time having dropped below her last winning mark. Nudged up 3lbs for not winning but has hit form and has strong claims to go well again in a race that she finished second in last year.

Won this event for this trainer/jockey combination last year off a 4lb higher mark. Struggled quite a bit on most of his starts this year with glimmers of hope. Return to this track should suit and cannot be discounted in a follow-up bid.

Verdict

Last years first and second are back to go at it again and they lurk at the bottom of the weights. Tylery Wonder won it twelve months ago and is now 4lb lower this time around. His form has not been as good this year and for that reason FUMBO JUMBO can get her revenge. Having dropped in the weights she went very close at Ayr last time and that should have put her cherry ripe for this. Fendale has the services of Graham Lee who is used to these types of races and is best of the rest.
