Won well at Leicester on his penultimate start - running on strongly near the finish. But was never a factor last time out and has a bit to prove running from the same mark. Never tried this trip before, so also a slight query about his stamina.
Returned to win a claimer on the AW after the best part of a year on the sidelines and races from an attractive mark in comparison to his AW rating. This is his time of year, so cannot be discounted. One for the shortlist.
Not beaten a single horse home in either start this season and makes very limited appeal despite the return to selling grade company being likely to suit. The fitting of an eyeshield for the first time needs to spark a massive revival.
Posted a fair effort on debut for his current yard when second at Catterick at the start of this month but was soon beaten and tailed off in latest outing. Drop into this grade will suit but he's in danger of becoming unreliable these days. Risky.
A 14-race maiden that has rarely looked like he is a winner in the waiting. Didn't put up much of a fight when well beaten on his recent return to action and looks opposable on that evidence alone.
Form figures make for poor reading and difficult to make a strong case out for him after posting lackluster effort at Windsor earlier in the month - virtually pulled up and eased as if something was amiss in the final furlong. Best watched.
Lightly raced but not shown much since finishing second in a course maiden on the AW in January. Didn't show much in first-time cheekpieces last time but feasible he'll appreciate this ease in grade. Not out of it in this company.

A modest race in which VIEWPOINT looks the safest option - especially as he's got a recent win to his name and is well treated in comparison to his AW rating. The gelding goes well at this time of year and has to be considered as a force at this level. Cool Macavity has become a law unto himself but may appreciate dropping in grade, so has to merit a betting check, while Genuinely Crowded doesn't have too many miles on the clock and the drop in grade may help him bounce back after a poor run last time out. Mulsanne Chase has claims on the pick of his form but needs to prove his stamina, so a market check is also advised where he is concerned.
