Filly by Elzaam out of a Mujadil mare related to sturdy types Clem Fandango and Mjjack. Soon in trouble here on debut and needs to have improved a lot.

6,000 gns foal by Fowxedge out of a modest 7f winner. Yard 3-14 with this age group since 2014 but facing representatives from most of the big stables on debut.

Horse silk
50/1
£52,000 daughter of Society Rock out of a well-related unraced mare with plenty of speed in the pedigree. Yard just 2-29 with this age group in 2018.

Horse silk
8/1
Daughter of Australia out of a mare who was a winner over 6f at two. Looked green on debut and should improve a great deal for the experience but 7f looks a more likely trip. Stable had three of the first five last year including the winner.

Horse silk
100/1
€4,000 daughter of Elusive Pimpernel out of a dam who won over 1m2f. This trip looks sure to provide an insufficient test.

Horse silk

Xtension half-sister to five winners caught the eye on Fairyhouse debut when staying on stoutly in the final furlong. Should find a race before long, but this may be too strong.

€40,000 daughter of Acclamation out of a winning miler. Half-sister to a 5f/7f winner and the first juvenile runner of the season for the stable.

Horse silk

Exchange Rate filly out of a US dam related to Graded winners. Stable had their first winner last week, but their juveniles have yet to trouble the judge.

Horse silk
50/1
Kodiac half-sister to two winners from 6f-1m4f. Dam is an unraced half-sister to a Dubai World Cup winner and this trip may be on the sharp side.
Newcomer by Power out of a 6f winner so bred to be quick. Yard 1-14 with juveniles since 2014.

Horse silk
7/4
€90,000 Kodiac filly. Dam a half-sister to a juvenile Listed winner over 6f. Looked set to make a winning debut until the more experienced winner pulled out a bit more. The form has been devalued since, but she clearly has a turn of foot.

Horse silk
7/4
War Front filly out of a Montjeu mare. Dam a Group 1 Irish Oaks winner and related to Magic Wand. Looked a future winner in the making on debut over 7f, but looked as though she was going to need further. Stable had three of the first five last year

Horse silk
14/1
Beaten favourite on debut and there were no evident signs of progress at Gowran Park. Looks vulnerable in this company over this trip.
Dragon Pulse filly, cost €31,000 as a yearling. Dam was 6f winner in Italy, including as a two-year-old and also placed at Group 3 level on the continent. Made little impression on debut and needs to have improved a great deal for it.

Horse silk
12/1
Galileo filly out of a Holy Roman Emperor mare related to Frankel, Australia and recent Nottingham winner Gospel. Looked in need of the run ahead of debut and ran accordingly. Stable had three of the first five last year including the winner.

Forecasts

Secret Thoughts (7/4), Rita Levi (7/4), I Remember You (8/1), Spiritual Impulse (10/1), Tracing (12/1), Smart Flies (14/1), Olay Power (25/1), Nikeandnemesis (25/1), Cozy Sky (33/1), Realtin Fantasy (33/1), Foxtrot Liv (40/1), Rathmoylan Cove (50/1), Hiella (50/1), Only The Brave (66/1), Emily Grace (100/1), Miss Wow (100/1)

Verdict

The Balydoyle trio, Tracing, I Remember You and Secret Thoughts are all open to significant improvement and the yard took this 12 months ago with another filly who stepped up greatly from a modest debut. They also went close to taking this in 2016 so it is with some trepidation that the vote goes to RITA LEVI. Ger Lyons' filly went down to an experienced O'Brien runner on debut when looking sure to win as she went through the gears only to find the winner gamely pulling out a bit more. Although the form has been undermined since, she created a good impression and the extra furlong will help.
  1. Rita Levi
  2. Secret Thoughts
  3. Tracing
