Not beaten far on his debut at Haydock over 5f behind the subsequent Windsor Castle winner when a 33/1 chance. Should have come on for that run and the form looks strong; must go well here.
Supported on his debut but hampered by his inexperience and finished last after always being behind. Comes from a yard that knows what they are doing with two-year-olds but much more needed to make an impact.
Two runs so far have both looked as though they were for experience and he looks as though he will be a gradual improver rather than a progressive type. Not knocked about on either occasion; for the longer term.
Newcomer from a yard where only the really smart sorts win on debut with her pedigree suggesting that she will be better over further. One to watch unless the market speaks for her.
Sepoy filly who has shown promise on both her runs despite not looking quite the finished article as yet. Failed to get the run of the race last time over C&D but should come on again for that and a definite player in this.
Given her speedy pedigree she was a fairly cheap acquisition and offered quite a lot to work on from her debut outing at Hamilton over 6f. Now brought back to the minimum trip and that may suit better; faces a couple of useful types.

Forecasts
Baby Steps (6/4), Lorton (6/4), Princes Des Sables (9/2), Micronize (14/1), Kalissi (20/1), Gunnabedun (20/1), Forcetoreckon (22/1), Tick Tock Croc (40/1)
Quite an interesting little heat with the form of the Haydock race that Baby Steps ran in given quite a boost by the winner at Royal Ascot when he (Soldier’s Call) took the Windsor Castle and he must have a chance based on that piece of form. The two fillies at the bottom of the card look sure to give him a race though in receipt of weight with LORTON who looked a little unlucky over C&D last time shading it as the suggestion over Princes Des Sables who showed a lot of speed over 6f at Hamilton last time on her debut.
