Burford Brown makes his handicap debut after an improved effort at Beverley and is respected given his handler and modest opening mark, whilst both Danecase at Treacherous (has to prove himself on turf) arrive in decent shape. Ragstone View steps up in grade from a 5lb higher mark following his recent C&D success, but with conditions likely to be riding similar should be thereabouts, but the one who makes most appeal is NICK VEDDER. Win-less since his days with Karl Burke, he's threatened to thwart that sequence on various occasions, but his most recent run (Class 4) reads well in the context of this race.
