Ran well on all three starts in novice/maiden company, and could prove better than this opening handicap mark in time. Showed that this trip/ground are both fine when winning at Redcar last time and she's the one to beat again.

Progressed through all three of her runs in novice/maiden events, and wouldn't need to improve too much further to get involved on handicap debut given her mark.

Cheek pieces on and up in trip again for this second start in a handicap, though performance last time wasn't great and she has stamina to prove for this distance.

Both career wins in novice races and hasn't been able to build on that early promise in handicaps (has also contested Group races). Down again in the weights but better required.

Failed to play a serious role in four starts to date and looks up against it here on handicap debut against four rivals who have shown much more.

Worth Waiting (8/11), Contrive (3/1), Starlight Mystery (5/1), Golden Iris (10/1), Lady Of The Court (25/1)

Verdict

The one to beat here is top-weight WORTH WAITING. David Lanigan's charge was off the mark at the third time of asking in a novice race at Redcar last time but also ran well in her other two outings to date, and should run very well on this handicap debut given the mark she's been assigned. She can see off the challenge of Contrive, another who showed some promise in novice company, while Golden Iris could be a distant third best.
