Some good form in his novice races, but yet to fire in handicap company and a 3lb drop down the weights seems unlikely to be enough.

Yet to mount a serious challenge in any of his three handicaps so far, and remains on the same mark as his last two runs; improvement needed.

Two smooth successes in novice company, including over C&D last time out and he looks well-treated for his handicap debut. Could prove tough to beat with further improvement a strong likelihood.

Off the mark in good style in a Wolverhampton novice event last time out, but set a much tougher test now making his handicap debut.

Improvement in novice company on his last three starts, but that has also coincided with a switch to racing on the AW, so has a couple of questions to answer back on turf for handicap debut.

Kimifive28
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-8| J: Nicola Currie(3)| T: J Tuite| OR:  78| BF

Still yet to get off the mark but has run some excellent races in defeat, including over 5f here last time out when beaten just a neck and arguably unlucky.

Forecasts

Buffer Zone (10/11), Music Society (5/1), Chagatai (11/2), Kimifive (7/1), Harbour Storm (10/1), Perfect Hustler (14/1)

Verdict

Harbour Storm is respected having won a novice race at Wolverhampton last time out in good style, but this is all about BUFFER ZONE. A hat-trick seeker who makes his handicap debut here off the back of two stylish wins, he looks on a good mark and could prove better than this level of race in time. Kimifive remains a maiden and has a bit to prove, but has still managed to run some promising races.
  1. Buffer Zone
  2. Harbour Storm
  3. Kimifive
