Fulfilled earlier expectations when making all to land a similar race at Yarmouth. However, the time was unimpressive and he was allowed to claim the favoured stands rail. Looks vulnerable and others may represent better value
Improved on turf debut and first-time cheekpieces at Redcar. Took time to change gear but he only has to run to a similar level to go close again.
Had a few problems securing a clear run on stable debut and the extra furlong is sure to help. Each-way claims.
Rare runner here for the yard and makes a quick reappearance having finished mid-division against better horses on Tuesday. Hood fitted and a potential surprise package.
Showed bits of promise last year over 7f. Gelded during the winter but no obvious improvement seen on his reappearance. Possible he will improve for the run and the addition of cheekpieces.
No show at big prices in all four starts and he has little obvious chance based on official ratings.
Beat recent dual-winner Savannah by 5L last year but barely recognisable in his last four starts. One to have reservations about until the market speaks in his favour.
Failed to show much in three starts on the AW. Possible improver at this level on turf debut and for a yard who have a 12-49 record here since 2014.
Wolverhampton winner seemed to be getting back on the right track last time and a clear danger if maintaining that progress.
Consistent filly who failed to give her running last time following trouble at the start. Rarely far away and only a matter of time before a small race drops right for her.
Forecasts
Harbour Approach (3/1), Comporta (4/1), The Throstles (4/1), Ideal Candy (9/2), Mister Maestro (13/2), Don't Cry About It (8/1), Superego (14/1), Zapateado (20/1), Pastamakesufaster (50/1), Parable (80/1)
This looks a harder race for Comporta who made short work of his rivals at Yarmouth when getting the run of the race. The Throstles takes the eye with Luke Morris on board following a more encouraging effort last time. Harbour Approach is sure to improve for the extra furlong, but IDEAL CANDY has form in better company than this and makes the long journey across country for Karen Tutty.
- Ideal Candy
- The Throstles
