Hat-trick seeker who won nicely at Huntingdon last time out, but he's been put up 13lb and this is a much more competitive race.
Patchy form in maiden/novice company but long had the hallmarks of a hurdler who may be seen to better effect in handicaps, and interesting to see how he does on debut in this sphere.
Far from disgraced at Southwell last time over a similar trip/on similar ground last time out and debut for this yard, and entitled to build on that performance here.
Only win came over further than this but also ran well over a much more similar trip to this at Southwell earlier in the month, and that suggests he could get involved.
Two fair efforts in handicap company at Warwick and Uttoxeter the last twice. Remains on the same mark now with the Champion Jockey taking over and is one for the shortlist.
Down the field on his last three starts, and having been given a break he needs to bounce back here in the change of headgear, but looks to have plenty to do.
Winner at Huntingdon last time out on only his second start in a handicap. Up 6lb here but open to further improvement and should enjoy the conditions.
Off the mark in smooth style at Uttoxeter last time, and though he should find handicaps tougher this looks a good starting point, and his mark isn't exactly unreasonable.
Slightly disappointing at Uttoxeter last time out given his recent form (beaten 16L there), though drop back in trip shouldn't be an issue given he was second over 2m1f two starts back.
Tends to find one or two too good when racing over hurdles and could easily be the same story off the same mark he was third off of at Fontwell last time.
Pulled-up when last seen almost a year ago, and has switched yards since. Can only be watched with so little being apparent about his current level of ability.
Return to this trip should suit after poor performance over further last time out, but the signs are she may need some further assistance from the handicapper.
Has won off a higher mark than this in the past but needs to build on last two performances if he's to have a role to play in this.

Stole The Show (4/1), Cosmic King (9/2), The Twisler (13/2), Leapaway (8/1), Shrubland (8/1), Solstalla (8/1), Monday Club (12/1), Amirr (14/1), Midtech Valentine (14/1), Idder (16/1), Billy My Boy (20/1), Lettheriverrundry (20/1), Retrieve (25/1), Stuccodor (40/1), G'day Aussie (66/1)
Cosmic King isn't all that exposed and should be able to get competitive, while Leapaway has run a couple of nice races in handicap company so far. However, preference is for IDDER, who ran well on stable debut at Southwell last time out, and can build on that run (which was hit first after a break) here, remaining on the same handicap mark.
- Idder
- Cosmic King
- Leapaway
