Looked to show improved form when winning at Chester over 5f last time although there remains a suspicion that she was very much suited by the race scenario. Won't find the set-up as enticing off a 7lb higher mark.

Showed a great deal of promise initially for his former stable as a juvenile but that progress tailed off gradually in the second half of the year. Now gelded he's joined a yard that have a good record with sprinters; worth a market check.

Despite a very busy season (this will be her 14th run) she's holding her form well and has already delivered four wins. Coped well with this grade last time here over 6f and will find this speed test over 5f more suitable.

Progressing nicely having won two minor events the last twice both at 6f despite not settling very well last time when making all. Now makes his handicap debut dropping back in trip and should have more to offer given his performances so far.

Fairly useful performer in handicaps although he's never won one and has only a two-year-old maiden win on debut to show as winning form. Well held last time although the track didn't suit and far too keen; mark also looks high.

First-time blinkers and a return to novice company saw him off the mark last time putting his experience to good use and winning with a bit in hand over 6f. Now returns to handicaps over 5f for the first time off a 4lb lower mark.

Forecasts

Embour (6/4), Gold Filigree (11/4), Rebel Streak (7/2), Bungee Jump (7/1), Roland Rocks (12/1), Green Fortune (28/1)

Verdict

The progressive EMBOUR looks to be the pick of this bunch as he makes his handicap debut off what could be a lenient mark especially if he settles better in his races. Green Fortune was highly tried last season and for all his form tailed off in the end he’s joined a good yard to get him back on track over sprint trips. Both Bungee Jump and Gold Filigree are speedy types with the former of that duo making more appeal after a good run here last time and the drop to 5f looking to suit.
  1. Embour
  2. Bungee Jump
  3. Green Fortune
