Has plenty of ability and often travels strongly in her races but she has her quirks in equal measure with a temperament that can be questioned. Yet to win a race and the cheekpieces worn last time are now removed; first time in this 0-70 grade.

Not the sort that you can rely on too heavily and he's often flattered to deceive but he did run well in a better race than this last time without his usual headgear. That's still left off here but he can win off this mark in a strongly run race.

Won on his debut for this yard at Wolverhampton (handicap debut) over 7f showing some improved form. Disappointed in three runs since then although she will be suited by a return to 7f here having tried 6f last time.

Showed more than before on his first run since a wind op when running well on handicap debut at Yarmouth over 7f. Made the running and only headed late on; looks the sort to have more to come off a 1lb lower mark.

Yet to win a race although has run some fair races an did so again last time at Pontefract over 6f. This will be his first try over this trip but looks to have little in hand off this mark and others make more appeal.

Made her handicap debut earlier in the year running well enough but basically looked on a stiff enough opening mark. Dropped 3lb for that effort she will need to show more here to be of any interest in the future.

His last two races separated by a five month break have been very disappointing and have reached nowhere near the level of his handicap debut. Stable are in good form now though and he could bounce back.

Got loose before his only win so far over 7f at Beverley with the experience clearly not affecting him at all. Creditable efforts in both starts since then maintaining his consistency for the year; 5lb above his last winning mark.

From a stable that are ticking along nicely at the moment the fact that his mark remained the same from his penultimate run to last time was a big plus in his win. Saw out the 1m well on the AW but has to prove his fitness after a break.

Ran well enough on her first outing for this yard but hasn't been in the same form since and was well below form last time. Still a maiden and should would have to improve to shed that tag here.

Well-backed last time out his win clearly wasn't that unexpected although he did look as though he wasn't quite the finished article. Should stay this trip on pedigree after the way he shaped last time and every chance of following up.

Often seen travelling well in his races but there is always a doubt as to whether he will go through with his effort. Loomed up last time and was outbattled and now wears cheekpieces for the first time; ought to be able to win off this mark.

Verdict

There are a few in this that should have won more than they have and Paparazzi would be one of that group especially as he ran well last time out but like Erastus he’s often flattered only to deceive at the business end of the race. Christmas Night has proved to be consistent since his win and will be thereabouts along with the likes of Archie Perkins and Real Estate. WHINMOOR shaped as though he had more in his locker last time and this 7f should suit him he can progress again with Thunder Buddy the one to note in the market now that he goes into handicaps.
