Now had five starts for this yard and doesn't really look to be progressing. This is a drop in grade though (has been running in 0-75) and cheekpieces applied to eke out some improvement and she's a player down in this grade for sure.
Best effort by some way when second of eight at Salisbury (1m, good to firm) jut four days ago. Still beaten a long way by the winner however and whilst that was a step in the right direction, he's not guaranteed to back that up.
Seemed to appreciate the step up to this trip last time at Wetherby (good to firm) when staying on well for third. Never really looked like winning however and racing off the same mark he has place claims once more.
Best effort to date when finishing third of 11 over 7½f on turf here (good to firm) 12 days ago. That was a step in the right direction and needs to be able to back that up now back on this surface off 1lb lower.
Failed to beat a rival home on his last couple of starts over 6f and as still pretty green at Chelmsford last time.. Very much bred for 1m+ so this step up in trip on handicap debut looks a good move and is very much of interest.
Two solid efforts of this mark the last twice including when chasing home Malaysian Boleh at Brighton last week. Step up in trip to a mile looks a good move and likely to be in the shake up once more.
Opening mark looked on the high side and has struggled as a result. 4L behind Watch Tan at Brighton last week and work on to reverse the form with that rival here.
Beaten a total of 100L on his three starts so far. Type to do better now switching to handicaps in a first time tongue-tie but needs a good jolt of improvement all the same.
Hasn't shown much in three starts in handicaps so far. Handicapper continues to drop her mark but this trip has looked to stretch her and others have much stronger claims once more.
Big prices and well beaten on all three starts so far. Starts life in handicaps off a lowly mark but would need to see plenty more from her before becoming of interest.
Keeps being held up and running on passed beaten horses when the race has gone. Races from out the weights here and easily passed over.

Forecasts
Guardiola (3/1), Convinced (7/2), Macho Mover (4/1), Twickenham (7/1), Irish Times (10/1), Watch Tan (10/1), Polly's Gold (10/1), Vodka Pigeon (20/1), One Flew Over (20/1), Bayards Cove (25/1), Dragon Tattoo (33/1), Prezzie (40/1)
A few handicap debutants in here so a market check is very much advised. Convinced, Irish Times and One Flew Over are three that are likely to be more suited to handicaps and any money for any of them should be noted. Guardiola ran much better last time and is respected if turning up here just four days on. We will take a chance on a return to form for POLLY'S GOLD who has been running in much stronger races than this of late and has dropped to a very tempting mark with the cheekpieces added.
- Polly's Gold
- Irish Times
