Has struggled so far on three starts in handicaps and hasn't looked like winning. Down another 3lb and steps back up to a mile here. Tongue-tie is added to the cheekpieces but needs to do more.
Really consistent filly that always tends to run her race. After back-to-back victories earlier in the year she has failed to win off this mark on her last four attempts. Every chance she will give it another good go.
Has been struggling for form over further than this of late. Mark is falling and drops 2f in trip here which is a positive, but needs a major upturn in form to win this.
Won back-to-back races in March but not been as good since. Interesting returning to this successful C&D with top claimer on board taking off a valuable 5lbs. Big player if bouncing back.
Best effort was on handicap debut over this trip at Kempton. Stumbled coming out fo the stalls on latest start at Goodwood and was never at the races. Dropped 4lbs for that but needs to show major improvement all the same to be considered.
Is dangerously well handicapped and you can probably put a line through her last run at Yarmouth as her saddle slipped. Dropped another 2lbs and the drop back in trip will suit. She's got very strong claims in this field if at her best.
Still a maiden after 14 starts and failed to beat a rival home at Sandown (1m1f, good) two weeks ago. Continues to slide down the weights but hard to make a case for at present.
Her two best efforts have come over this C&D and she ran well when third here off this mark last week. Stable has a strong hand here with Stosur and interesting to see how the market compares them.
Forecasts
Sonnet Rose (9/4), Peace Terms (3/1), Stosur (13/2), Delicate Kiss (8/1), Ramblow (8/1), Topmeup (17/2), Golden Nectar (11/1), England Expects (16/1)
Peace Terms is likely to come good sooner rather than later and is respected. Sonnet Rose is as consistent as they come but has failed to win off this mark so we'll take her on again. Gay Kellaway seems to have a strong hand here and whilst Topmeup has the younger legs and the more obvious profile, STOSUR is just too well handicapped to ignore. Her saddle slipped last time at Yarmouth and this trip is much more to her liking and she can get back to winning ways.
