Two similar efforts in handicaps on quick ground over 7f at Doncaster the last twice. Has shaped like this extra furlong will suit and has place claims at the very least here.
Still a maiden now after 12 starts and has been tried over a variety of trips. Drops back 2f in trip here after weak effort at Doncaster (soft) last time and is now becoming disappointing.
The hood brought about a better effort two starts back at Carlisle so it was a surprise that it was left off when disappointing at Beverley last time. Hood back on here and hopes hinge on that provided another spark.
Won off 1lb higher at Doncaster last summer over 6f. Not been with this yard all that long and improvement is possible. Well beaten however over C&D three weeks ago and needs to step up on that now to be involved.
Never really got going since moving into handicaps and blinkers have had no positive effect the last twice. They are swapped for cheekpieces here and career low mark continues to fall.
Signs of promise in three qualifying runs. You can make a case that this is a decent opening mark based on his second run at Epsom and likely to do better now making handicap debut for connections that like to have winners here.
Three very similar efforts in novice company haven't amounted to much. Hasn't shaped like this trip is whats wanted so far but starts life in handicaps off a lowly mark and should be capable of better for yard that won this last year
Looked very much in need of the run on return at Carlisle (1m1f, good) two weeks ago. Mark is slipping and should come on for that first run of the year but form tailed off last year and better is needed to be considered.

Snowdon (13/8), Dontgiveuponbob (10/3), Party Fears Too (7/2), Song Of Summer (4/1), Kylie Rules (9/2), Havana Star (11/2), Zig Zag Zyggy (18/1), Alabanza (25/1), Cuillin Hills (25/1)
Keith Dalgleish won this race last year with a similar type to Alabanza who starts life in handicaps off a lowly mark. There is every chance he could show significant improvement now. Zig Zag Zyggy is another making his handicap debut and looks to be on a fair mark based on his second run. A market check is very much needed. Clear preference though has to be for SNOWDON who shows bundles of improvement when winning as easily as she liked at Yarmouth two weeks ago and the 8lb rise is very unlikely to stop her winning again.
