Looks to be best when ridden positively as she was on her winning handicap debut over 6f and although she hasn't followed up she has twice shaped as though she's in form. Now hooded for the first time she drops to 5f for the first time; races freely.

A winner on her two-year-old debut she's failed to score since although she was highly tried on her remaining juvenile starts. Shaped well on her handicap debut on her return but her most recent run proved a disappointment; has to bounce back.

Cheaply bough by current connections she's more than repaid them by winning her first three start for them (all handicaps over 5f). A poor start at Chester last time scuppered her chance of a four-timer over 6f; returns to 5f here.

Extremely likeable and consistent sort who gained a deserved reward for previous effort when winning at Windsor (5f, good) last time. Already a C&D winner (maiden) she may just struggle off a 4lb higher mark having not had much in hand last time.

Beaten as a short-priced favourite on her juvenile debut she showed why when winning the next time out. Never really kicked on from that point though and now steps into handicaps on her seasonal return; market to provide a guide to her chance.

Not seen as a two-year-old she's gained plenty of experience already this year winning on the AW over 6f. Speedy sort who looks better over 5f her turf form so far has looked a little patchy although this is the lowest mark she will have raced off.

Forecasts

Puds (9/4), Seen The Lyte (5/2), Kodiac Express (11/4), Formidable Kitt (8/1), Meerpat (10/1), Wirral Girl (14/1)

Verdict

A tightly-knit handicap and none of the sextet are that easy to rule out with PUDS taken to be suited by the drop to 5f and looking to have a little more class than some of these. She’ll also appreciate being back on a firmer surface although she may face some pace pressure. Formidable Kitt was highly tried as a two-year-old and she may yet do better in handicaps this year although handicap debutante Wirral Girl and three-time winner already this season Seen The Lyte may prove to be bigger dangers especially if the market speaks favourably for the former.
