Shaped with promise on her first two starts this year but took a step backwards at Musselburgh last time. this is another drop in grade and she should be more than capable at this level off a good mark.

Scored over 1m4f (soft) at Pontefract to complete a four-timer last summer. Has been performing at that level again this season, winning at Hamilton last month. 5lb higher here and probably has each-way claims.

Recorded a second career success when staying on well at Pontefract (1m4f, good to firm) last month. Couldn't follow that up off this mark last time but chances are that didn't pan out as favourably. This should suit and plenty more to come.

Formerly with Richard Hannon he won a Leicester seller on his final start for that yard (1m2f) in August 2017. Up 3lb for an excellent seasonal return at Musselburgh last month. Couldn't back that up as favourite last time and needs to bounce back.

Had been shaping like his turn was close and duly obliged at Ripon over 1m4f last time. Only nudged up 2lb for that narrow success and with conditions to suit is likely to go well again.

hasn't looked particularly well handicapped for a while now and whilst he ran better at Wolverhampton last time he never looked like winning. Others are preferred at the moment.

Won a Wolverhampton handicap (1m4f, AW) a year ago off this mark and went close from 4lb higher here in July (1m1f, good to firm). Two lifeless efforts so far this season though dn impossible to fancy on that evidence.

Forecast

Regal Mirage (9/5), Akamanto (5/2), Donnachies Girl (6/1), Wotabreeze (6/1), Thorntoun Care (6/1), Savannah Moon (17/2), Omotesando (14/1), True Romance (40/1)

Verdict

Not a strong race for the grade. Donnachies Girl is surely capable of better than she has shown so far this year and this is a welcome drop in grade. Wotabreeze and SAVANNAH MOON both bring recent winning form to the table with preference for the latter who didn't have things go her way last time and she can get back to winning ways on a track that should suit.
  1. Savannah Moon
  2. Wotabreeze
  3. Donnachies Girl
