Capable off this sort of mark but has been just a touch below winning form of late. No reason why he couldn't spark to life at any stage though and rider claims a handy 7lb.
On a good mark but is only 1 from 17 on turf after finishing a well backed second over C&D last month. Best efforts come when he can dig his toe in so any rain would be very welcome but a player once again.
Set a stiff mark to run to after winning a maiden in Ireland last year and struggled as a result. Starts since joining his current yard have been modest at best - likely he'll still find a few too good here.
Did well to come from off the pace to win here over 7f last time. Raised 4lbs for that but strong argument that he is better at this trip so is a big player once again.
Only one win in 20 starts and a switch to this yard has not improved his fortunes. Well beaten at Haydock last time and others are readily preferred.
Been in cracking form of late and got a much deserved win on the board of a 6lb lower mark at Thirsk (6f, good to firm) last time. Penalty makes life tougher but in such rude health he's hard to ignore.
Had a fairly consistent time of things last year but is just about handicapped upto his best. Returns from a nine-month break and is likely best watched unless the market screams his name.
Lightly raced and yards runners tend to come on a good bit for their first run so it was very encouraging that she ran so well on reappearance at Ripon on soft ground. Should come on for that and is a major player here.
Won well at Thirsk off 4lb lower last month but couldn't back that up over the same C&D next time. Likely to be in the mix once gain here if still in the same mood.
Won a couple of these events last year and his last two wins have come with today's rider on board. Slipped back below his last winning mark now and it would be no surprise to see this previous C&D winner bounce back to form
Landed back to back races last autumn but has been a long way below those levels since and weighted accordingly.
Doesn't win very often and her form is very in-and-out. Having said that there was more promise than has been the case at Ayr last time and with blinkers going on today she is lurking on a dangerous mark.

You can make a case for plenty of these and it's a wide open affair. Geoff Potts ran a blinder last time and is respected, especially if any rain falls. Cliff, Peachey Carnahan and Lady Cristal are all lurking towards the bottom of the weights and could bounce back to form. Preference is for BIDDY BRADY who's yards runner tend to need a run to be spot on so the fact she shaped so nicely on return was very promising.
- Biddy Brady
- Lady Cristal
- Geoff Potts
