In decent enough form so far this season including when finishing fourth over 7f in first time cheekpieces (retained since) here last month. Disappointed over 1m1f last time out and drops in trip for this contest.

Forecasts

Berlios (9/4), Munthany (5/2), Smugglers Creek (4/1), Grandad's World (8/1), Racquet (10/1), Cheeni (16/1), Grandad Chunk (25/1), Raise A Billion (25/1), Goninodaethat (33/1)

Verdict

SMUGGLERS CREEK can put a disappointing effort behind him by taking the concluding amateur riders contest. The selection has good form over further and can get the better of Berlios who has been in good form in recent times including when placed in a similar race to this last time. Munthany ran well when third last time and can claim third with a promising amateur in the saddle.
