There look to be one or two progressive types in this with BEYOND EQUAL heading that list after his back-to-back impressive victories and it may take more than a 9lb rise to stop his rise through the handicap. Shaheen carries a penalty for his recent Pontefract win where he did well to overcome a wide trip but he’s run poorly before when returned to the track quickly and that’s a worry here. Both Lashabeeh and Wafeer for the same owner would have a chance in this with the former of that duo the more favoured on his handicap debut. Rockies Spirit has been consistent and this is his best trip but a 3lb rise for not winning last time makes life harder.
