Losing run stretches back for some time and has been well beaten on first two starts of the season having had wind surgery at some point over the winter. Others preferred.
Two wins from six starts and while only seen twice last year, there was plenty to like about the way he came on for his reappearance at Windsor last time. No reason why he won't go well again from a 4lb higher mark.
In good form towards the end of last year but all his better starts have come on faster ground than what is likely here and well beaten on all four starts this season.
Just won once last year but that was an impressive effort at Doncaster in October and returned with a smart run at Leicester last time. Shaped like he needed that too so can't be ruled out here.
Largely running well last year, though only got her head in front once when winning at Ffos Las on heavy ground. May want softer ground than what is likely here but not ruled out with Norton booked and drawn on the rail.
Tailed off at York on his return and while he won twice at the start of last year, the handicapper would appear to have his measure for now.
Just one win since landing a Listed race here in 2015. Has returned in better form this time around though with a couple of respectable efforts here but the draw has done him no favours.
If he is being brought back to form this year it's a very gradual process and one that doesn't look to be working with his last two starts being particularly poor. Well-handicapped on old form at least.

ENVOY returned to form with a fine effort at Windsor last time, staying on gamely to get up and given that he's less exposed than most, he could be hard to beat here. Corton Lad and Gabrial's King are both well-handicapped on old form and shouldn't be dismissed.
