Gained reward for some creditable efforts when winning 5f Listed race at the Curragh on return, but below that form when only sixth of 9 in Group 2 Greenlands Stakes there last time. This trip arguably stretches him.
Followed a Listed win at Chantilly with a Group 3 success at that course at the start of last season, but not beaten a rival in three subsequent starts, latest his debut for Eddie Lynam. Tongue tied now, but something to prove.
Better than ever when winning in the mud at Naas on his return to action, and bounced back from a poor run when third over 7f at Gowran last time. Steps up in class, but can't be ruled out.
Best effort in truncated 2017 campaign when good fifth in Royal Ascot's Commonwealth Cup behind Caravaggio. Not at that level yet this season, but did have excuses for a poor run last time.
Looked a smart prospect when winning first two starts, but not progressed as expected. Back to near best when 3¾ lengths fifth of 9 to Merchant Navy in Greenlands Stakes at the Curragh last time, though, and claims if staying longer trip.
Best effort last year when beaten ½l in 1m Group 2 here in October. Has finished third in Group 3 events on both starts this season, and leading claims with cheekpieces fitted for all shorter trip isn't ideal.
Dundalk winner in April, and improved on earlier turf efforts when second to London Icon in minor event at Navan (1m) last time. Still unexposed given conditions, and should do better still.

Forecasts
St Patrick's Day (5/4), True Valour (7/4), Smash Williams (9/2), Full Moon (5/1), Ardhoomey (11/1), Medicine Jack (14/1), Fas (25/1), Mr Scarlet (40/1)
St Patrick's Day is the headline horse, being a winning brother to Triple-Crown hero American Pharoah and making his debut here for Aidan O'Brien, but he's passed over in favour of recent Epsom third TRUE VALOUR, who has better form in the book. Ardhoomey would appeal more over shorter, while Smash Williams got back on track to some degree last time, and has place claims with 7f looking within his compass.
- True Valour
- St Patrick's Day
- Smash Williams
