Nursery winner last year over 6f at Yarmouth off a 4lb mark who followed that up with another good run but has struggled to find his form this term. Well backed last time but failed to finish his race off and may prove vulnerable here.
Hit a good run of form as a two-year-old winning two sellers and a nursery in a purple patch. Looks as though he could be too exposed now to win off this sort of mark and may have to settle for a place at best.
Failed to score as a two-year-old from five starts bit ran with credit on a couple of occasions. Shaped with promise last time out in an AW handicap over this trip (travelled well; given plenty to do) and not ruled out if given a more positive ride.
Formerly with Hugo Palmer he took a step back in the right direction last time on his second run for this yard. Will be suited by this drop back to 7f having been rather stretched by the 1m trip last time; market watch advised.
Looked as though she was fairly treated over C&D on her penultimate start but failed to back that outing up last time. Looked rather awkward last time and failed to settle; visor now goes on for the first time.
Mark looked rather stiff having been well beaten off it in her first two handicaps but showed she was capable off it last time out over 7f at Carlisle. The hood worn there is now left off (rather strangely) as it appeared to assist a better showing.
Hardly lightly-raced as a juvenile (0/10) but ended it well below form and hasn't really been any better this year. Now dropped to a career-low mark but hardly appeals as a solid chance.
Given three starts last year over gradually increasing trips ending up with a try over 1m2f on his third and final start. Now returns from a long break back to the distance of his second start; may need this but a possible improver (handicap debut).
Her only win so far came over 5f here when with Richard Fahey in claiming company. Has been consistent enough at a lowly level for this yard but that consistency has come at a price and she really needs some help from the handicapper.

Forecasts
Kylie Rules (11/4), Global Spirit (3/1), Gangland (6/1), Bowler Hat (8/1), Kannapolis (8/1), Placebo Effect (8/1), Onefootinparadise (11/1), Our Little Pony (14/1), Zabaletaswansong (16/1), Miss Wolverine (20/1)
This isn’t quite as interesting as the first division but GLOBAL SPIRIT caught the eye last time under a less than positive ride and ridden closer to the pace this time he could go close in an open looking contest. Kannapolis very much looks the type who could improve for handicaps although the market may well be the best indicator of that factor here. Bowler Hat is another one for whom market support would be significant with the Kylie Rules without the hood this time also likely to be in the mix. Gangland and Placebo Effect have hard tasks off their marks and look vulnerable to those below them in the handicap.
- Global Spirit
- Kannapolis
- Bowler Hat
