Won a heavy ground maiden at Cork in March but has struggled badly off his revised mark since and shaped as if amiss when tailed off last time. Has a bit to prove at present.
Unplaced in three maiden starts and makes handicap debut here. No obvious reason why he's about to improve markedly here unless the step up in trip unlocks potential.
A maiden after five starts but ran well last time on turf debut at Leopardstown when third of 10. That looks like fair form and not ruled out here with more progress possible.
A maiden after seven starts but just about a career best effort when runner-up of 10 at Leopardstown last time when a place in front of stablemate Dream Point. Arrives at the same weights here but that rival less exposed.
Just one win from eight starts when a winner on heavy ground at Fairyhouse last year. Seemingly needs those conditions to be seen at her best though, as seen when disappointing at Leopardstown last time. More needed.
Forecasts
Dream Point (9/4), Remmy D (7/2), City Ballerina (7/2), Paperback Writer (9/2), Rince Deireanach (8/1), Tullyallen (12/1)
Joseph O'Brien has a strong hand in this race with his two runners and the filly DREAM POINT is taken to reverse form from their Leopardstown run last time out given that she looks less exposed. Remmy D is still a maiden but can run well again while City Ballerina has been given a chance from the assessor on her handicap debut here.
