Good winner on debut, justifying favouritism when a comfortable 2l victor at Windsor, coming away late in the day and this stiff track should suit. Penalty to carry, but clearly useful and ought to be thereabouts again.

£19,000 purchase at Goffs sales last year, slowly away on debut at Ripon last month and never got into the race. Will need plenty of improvement on that tonight.
Price stayed more or less the same through the rings, bought for 20,000 gns at Tatts October Book 2 last year. Yard not known for two-year-old runners, let alone winners, so best watched on debut.

£31,000 purchase as a yearling, dam was a winner over 1m6f, which gives an indication that we won't see the best of him for a while yet. Green on debut at Thirsk, will know more here but plenty of improvement required.

£20,000 pirchase as a yearling, bred to be speedy and a half-brother to a French/Jersey sprint winner, but yard rarely have first time out two-year-old winners. Only of interest if strong in the market.

Already looking quite exposed, having had the four starts, the best of them coming at Chester behind the useful No Lippy. Will be a surprise if a few of these don't improve past him today.
Cost 10,000 gns as a yearling, breeding suggests this will be a perfectly good start point, especially on a stiff track and yard are 3-18 with their juveniles this season (although just 6% last five years here). Worth a market check.
£26,000 purchase at Goffs Doncaster last year, but showed little on debut when last of nine (went off 40-1, so little expected) at Ripon. Can only be watched here.

30,000 gns purchase from Tatts October Book 3 last year, decent looking pedigree (dam 6f 2yo winner and a half-sister to 6f Group 2 winner James Garfield) and yard are 1-2 with their 2-y-o's here (and can ready them first time up). Chances.

Relatively cheap purchase from Tatts Ireland last September, half brother to the useful Azagal but likely to need this experience. Others make more appeal.

Price decreased through the ring, costing £3,500 at Ascot Breeze-Ups in April, and yard not known for first time up two-year-old winners. Makes minimal appeal.

Price went down slightly from foal to yearling but still sold for £35,000 at Goffs Orby sales last September. Good debut when fifth at Chepstow, staying on well late and this stiff track will suit. Gets weight and every chance of the win here.

Forecasts

Seductive Moment (11/10), Early Edition (7/2), Nate The Great (9/2), Flint Hill (8/1), Cambeleza (20/1), Flint Said No (25/1), Hard Knock Life (25/1), Gingersdunthelot (33/1), Xtara (66/1), Juniors Fantasy (66/1), Champagne On Rocks (66/1), Carlow Boy (150/1)

Verdict

Seductive Moment knew his job on debut and ran out a ready enough winner, so his chance has to be greatly respected, but getting 12lb in weight swings the vote towards EARLY EDITION, who showed plenty of promise on debut and if she can build on that, may take advantage of the weight concession she gets. Nate The Great represents a yard that have already had a two-year-old winner here (from just two runners) and has to be respected on debut, particularly if the money comes.
