Had a terrific year over fences in 2017 rising through the ranks quickly with four wins on the bounce. Looked in need of the run when well beaten at Cheltenham on return in April. Reverts to hurdles here and should be pretty tough to beat.

Would have gone close to winning at Hexham (2m7½f, good) but for a bad mistake at the last. Sent off favourite that day and clearly has ability. Tongue tie goes on and should give Double Treasure plenty to think about.

£40,000 purchase after his win in a point-to-point at Eyton a year ago. Produced best effort in three rules starts last month over 2m5f (good) in Kempton novice event, finishing third after a mistake at the last. May build on that run.

Has shown glimmers of ability over hurdles so far over shorter. Step up to this trip promises to bring about a bit of improvement. Has quite a bit to find with the principles here all the same.

Hasn't shown an awful lot in four bumper runs and two hurdles starts. Beaten a long way the last twice and likely to find this tough going once more.

Been a bit one paced in two starts over shorter so far. Should find this step up in trip more to her liking today and going left-handed should also help (has hung left). Type to do better with time.

Forecasts

Double Treasure (4/6), Peculiar Places (7/2), Pontresina (6/1), Present Destiny (7/1), No No Juliet (50/1), Miss Malarky (150/1)

Verdict

No No Juliet is the type to do better with time and should appreciate this step up in trip going left-handed. Peculiar Places would have gone very close to winning at Hexham last time but for a final flight error and rates a player once more. This should be a straight forward opportunity for DOUBLE TREASURE to record another victory. He has developed in to a very smart chaser and should have too many guns for these.
  1. Double Treasure
  2. Peculiar Places
  3. No No Juliet
