Likeable pedigree but makes his belated racecourse debut after swapping hands for just £5,500 in November. Yard is in good form, so interesting if supported.
Switches to turf after two moderate efforts on the AW at Wolverhampton and Kempton. Big improvement needed but qualifies for a handicap mark after this.
Cost €100,000 and is a half-brother to winners in France. However, his own form has lacked any sparkle so far and he is another who may do better in a handicap in the near future.
Seventh of eleven on debut at Wolverhampton, this 21,000 gns purchase weakened tamely at Dunstall Park and already has improvement to find. The drop in trip may help but others preferred.
Well related gelding, who includes St Leger winner Sixties Icon among his half-brothers. His yard is in good form just now and a betting move could prove significant.
Consistent type that has returned in good style this season. His near miss at Haydock last month was a solid piece of form and brings this son of Dubawi right into the thick of the argument.
Cost 45,000 gns, this son of Zoffany appeals as a long term prospect and is probably safe to just watch him run on, this, his racecourse debut.
Son of Dark Angel and out of a well related mare - the gelding cost €60,000 as a yearling and, with his yard in good form, merits scrutiny in the betting.
Cost €64,000 as a yearling, the colt posted an improved effort at Goodwood last time out (7F good to soft). The step up in trip ought to suit and interesting to see how he fares for a bang-in-form yard.
Yard noted for its patient approach with individuals of this type. This son of Dansilli has posted two comparable effort so far and looks destined to make an impact in handicaps when upped in trip at a later stage.
Showed improvement at Chepstow last time out and looks to be going the right way. Races on this type of ground for the first time but is entitled to be thereabouts if he ups his game.
Modest on sole start last season but hinted there may be more to come with an improved performance at Salisbury last month. Still more required but seemingly heading the right way.
Finished tenth of seventeen on debut at Nottingham - slowly away and never competitive after. Big improvement needed but under the tutelage of a master of his craft, so feasible there's more to come.
Forecasts
Global Conqueror (4/6), Zain City (3/1), Life On Earth (8/1), Stormer (10/1), Gravina (20/1), Valyrian (33/1), Clooney (40/1), Imperial Court (66/1), Putto (66/1), Mutawaary (80/1), Alliteration (100/1), Alexanderthegreat (100/1), Langho (100/1)
This can go to CLOBAL CONQUEROR, who dropped a significant hint that his turn is near with a bold show at Haydock last month. The return to a mile suited the colt well on that occasion and, with a bit of give underfoot expected to suit, the mount of Andrea Atzeni has plenty going for him. Zain City is another seemingly on an upwards curve, while Stormer and Clooney are others worth noting in the betting.
- Global Conqueror
- Zain City
- Stormer
