Declaration of War gelding is a half-brother to several winners, including useful two-year-old 6f winner Choir, worth paying attention to on debut outing.
Gelded son of Paco Boy and a half-brother to useful Flat and jumps performer Charm School. Could only manage fifth of 11 in maiden over C&D (good to firm) six days ago.
Roderic O'connor gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including useful winner up to 7f Reckless Endeavour. Interesting newcomer for Ger Lyons.
Tapit gelding, dam was a 6f winner in United States. Fourth of eight in maiden at Dundalk (7f, AW) on debut 33 days ago, needs to improve.
Didn't achieve all that much in two maidens last year and returns from an 11-month absence needing to up things considerably.
Vocalised colt related to multiple winners and picked up for relatively small money, improved when second of 11 in maiden over C&D (good to firm) six days ago on second start. Should be more to come.
Lawman filly cost 50,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to useful 5f winner Go Kart and 1m winner Muzbid. Capable of having her say but may be second pick of the Weld runners.
Frankel filly with plenty going for her on pedigree, second runner for Dermot Weld in this contest and looks be the first string.
War Front filly, dam a winner of the Epsom Oaks and sister to Group 3 winner over 1m2f. Showed very little in both starts to date but bred to appreciate the likely better ground here and may do better.
Camacho filly. Closely related to 1m2f-1m4f winner Ottaviano Augusto and 7f winner Yulong Xiongba. Market may reveal more on debut.
Forecasts
Bona Fide (15/8), Take A Nap (9/4), Darkness Falls (7/2), Laughifuwant (12/1), Point Zero (16/1), Alanna 'a Leanbh (20/1), Descendant (20/1), Litecoin (33/1), Bayonet (33/1), Little Camacho (66/1)
TAKE A NAP sets the standard in the opening having finished second over C&D a week ago, he's the clear pick of those that have already run. Darkness Falls is a potential improver while both Bona Fide and Alanna 'a Leanbh should have prospects on debut for Dermot Weld.
