Glimmers of ability in three starts in maidens for Dermot Weld last year. Well backed and made favourite for handicap bow for new connections at Thirsk five weeks ago where kept on to finish fifth. Should be fitter and is respected.
Scored here over a mile a couple of weeks ago and raised 5lb for his troubles. Seems in good heart and another bold show anticipated with drop back in trip not a major issue.
Won three for Richard Fahey a few seasons ago and scored for current yard on AW at Newcastle in September. Shaped well until tiring on reappearance here last month so an improved display is possible.
Needs give underfoot to produce his best as at Thirsk last time when winning off 4lb lower mark In form but chance woudlbe helped by rain.
Won this race last year off same amrk and also scored off 52 at Hamilton in August. Better for recent pipe opener and shouldn't be far away once again. Another who would benefit from easing of the ground.
Only two wins have come on the AW at Newcastle and seems less effective on turf. Did stay on well though last time to be close fourth at Hamilton and return to this trip looks wise.
Won twice at this trip last summer but on easy ground both times. Decent effort latest when stayed on nicely at Thirsk and jockey booking does catch the eye.
Coming down the weights but hasn't really shown enough to warrant serious consideration having been never better than midfield in recent starts in similar company.
Scored over C&D last campaign and also at Musselburgh but didn't show much on seasonal reappearance and others are much preferrred for now.
24-race maiden Irish mare who was formerly trained by Joseph O'Brien. Second start for current yard and didn't show much on debut for new connections.
Maiden with just two places to his name in 22 starts. Hasn't raced for 10 months and is hard to enthuse over unless market tells a different story.
Still unexposed after just five starts and won with something in hand on second handicap outing at Fairyhouse four days ago. Goes again quickly under 6lb penalty could still be a blot on the handicap and should go very close.
Showed nothing on two starts for James Tate last term and in two starts for new handler this campaign. Has time to imporve but needs to start getting her act together.

Hey Pretty (15/8), Rebel State (7/2), Motahassen (7/2), Lotara (8/1), Seaforth (10/1), Carlovian (14/1), Be Bold (25/1), Play With Me (25/1), Retirement Beckons (25/1), Intiwin (33/1), Rioja Day (33/1), Let Right Be Done (50/1), House Of Cards (50/1), Molans Mare (66/1)
If HEY PRETTY is none the worse for her easy win in Ireland last week she should take some stopping under her 6lb penalty having won with plenty in hand. Last year's winner Rioja Day shouldn't be far away after a recent spin, and backers of Motahassen will be out to recover losses incurred last time when he didn't run badly by any means. Be Bold, Carlovian and Rebel State are others with claims.
- Hey Pretty
- Be Bold
- Motahassen
