Zoffany filly is a half-sister to 1m3f-1m4f winner Marmaduke. Finished a decent fifth of 14 in maiden at Naas (8f, good) on debut a fortnight ago, doing well from an unpromising position. May have more to offer.

Half-sister to a few winners, including the very useful stayer Red Cadeaux, may want longer trip in the near future but fair effort last time when fourth of 14 in maiden at Gowran Park (1m1½f, soft to heavy).

4/1
Once-raced filly, third of 14 in maiden at Gowran Park (1m1½f, soft) on debut recently, should build on that effort dropping in trip for in-form Ger Lyons team (6-30).

Simiynab129
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-0| J: Declan McDonogh| T: D K Weld
3/1
Holy Roman Emperor filly, shaped with promise in both starts despite greenness. Too free over 1m2f at Cork (soft to heavy) last time, drops in trip and capable of having a say if settling better.

Forecasts

Iiex Excelsa (9/4), Simiyna (3/1), Shemara (4/1), Wishing Star (9/2), Proud And Elated (5/1), True To Herself (7/1), Time Queen (14/1), Zoffanyia (16/1), Villa Maria (16/1), Divine Approach (20/1), Dolly Levi (20/1), Spanish Soprano (25/1), Fascinating Spirit (50/1), Kanthaka (50/1), Game Of Dreams (66/1), Royal Alto (100/1), Myra Awnya (100/1)

Verdict

IIEX EXCELSA has already landed one of these at Cork only to be disqualified on a technicality later. Since then she's run two fine races in Group 3 company and sets a lofty standard for the others to take aim at here on that basis. She can get off the mark (again). Shemara looks a solid contender down in trip while Simiyna, Proud And Elated and Zoffanyia all have potential on what they've done so far. Newcomer Fascinating Spirit needs a market check.
