A half-brother to bumper winner and useful handicapper on the Flat, Cullentry Royal, so makes some appeal on breeding. Yard very quiet just now though and only a significant move in the betting market would tempt an interest.
Improved effort when second in an amateur rider race at Huntingdon last time out was encouraging but can be keen in his races so needs to settle. Big chance id he does so in this company, however, and likely to play a strong role.
Stout pedigree and has winners in the bloodlines. Yard going well enough to consider the gelding as an each-way option but there has to be a suspicion he'll need further before too long.
Flat-bred gelding who makes limited appeal on breeding. Also a negative that his yard has been struggling for winners of late. Best watched.
Last of four on debut at Fontwell last month and readily brushed aside when the tempo increased near the finish on that occasion. Should have benefited from the run but now has a good bit to prove.
Bred for the Jumps scene and one of the more interesting contenders on pedigree. Well worth noting in the betting despite a poor strike-rate from the stable recently.
Cost €20,000 as a three-year-old and is out of an unraced but well-related dam. Interesting if supported but yard not noted for first-time out winners in bumpers.
By the high-class Nayef and is a half-sister to the likes of the classy Bandari and a couple of smart stayers. Wouldn't need to be pout of the ordinary to make the frame on her racecourse debut.
Yard going great guns and this nicely-bred mare merits plenty of interest as one that is bred for the game. Shortlisted.
Ninth of fourteen on debut at Warwick says the Gold Well mare already has improvement to find. Stiff test despite getting the mares' allowance.
Forecasts
Black Kalanisi (11/8), Kracquer (11/2), Gilwen Gracie (6/1), Skip Skool (8/1), Move Above (10/1), Lucky Finnegan (10/1), Allez Karakoz (12/1), Cracker Jak (18/1), Beehere (33/1), Peanutsponypetite (50/1)
Previous experience may be a crucial factor for BLACK KALANISI, whose latest effort at Huntingdon arguably sets the standard from those with a prior run under their belts. Gilwen Gracie has plenty going for her on a pedigree assessment, while Move Above and Kracquer can make this very interesting in the scrap for the places.
- Black Kalanisi
- Gilwen Gracie
- Move Above
