Debut winner over C&D back in March he only beat two rivals albeit the third has won twice since. Didn't build on his debut next time at York although that came on much quicker ground; pulled hard there though and found little.
Took her first two races in good style at Doncaster and Chester in contrasting conditions over 5f both times. Didn't quite live up to her billing at York last time but may have found that race coming a little soon; could bounce back.
Looked as though he needed his debut run (finished last) and stripped much fitter for his second run turning in a far better performance at Carlisle (runner-up). That showed he had plenty of ability; could have been better drawn.
Dick Turpin gelding out of a dam who was an unraced half-sister to a smart winner up to 1m4f Panama City. Just the third juvenile runner of the year for the trainer.
Speedily bred sort who showed plenty to work on when finishing third on her debut at Thirsk (5f, good/firm). Form of that race has yet to be tested but it looks a decent one for the grade and she's nicely drawn.
Green for her debut but not without ability doing most of her best work at the end of the race. This race asks more questions and is tougher but an ordinary novice may well be within her grasp.
Very rare runner at the track for the trainer and this Oasis Dream filly is a half-sister to several winners including a juvenile 6f winner Lundy. Juveniles from this yard can just need the run these days and others might be sharper.
Forecasts
Red Balloons (13/8), No Lippy (5/2), Aloysius Lilius (7/2), Mayson Mac (10/1), Happy Harmony (12/1), The Mackem Bullet (20/1), Flash Sentry (40/1)
Richard Fahey has won this race for the past two years and his RED BALLOONS is taken to make it three in a row and step up on her Thirsk debut. No Lippy has been in good form already winning a couple of races but does have to bounce back from a disappointing York run last time. Mayson Mac was a winner here on debut but he is on a recovery mission while Aloysius Lilius is expected to take another step forward despite an awkward draw. Happy Harmony is a rare Hannon runner at the track; she makes her debut in receipt of weight but would need some market support to be of interest.
- Red Balloons
- No Lippy
- Aloysius Lilius
