Probably out of his depth last time and conditions were on the fast side for him. Claims on his previous start when conditions were more favourable and the market may tell us more.
Looks better when allowed an uncontested lead these days and that seems likely here. Handles any ground and he usually runs well for this rider.
Only success came in a poor AW contest. A soft ground fourth in a Listed race at Newbury a year ago would be good enough to win this, but his form has been in freefall since.
Record now 1-22 but back to a more competitive mark following his comeback. Conditions will suit, but having finished last of ten a month ago he has fair bit to find.
Usually runs well here and took this last year off 4lb lower. Too consistent at present to get any help from the handicapper and once again he may bump into a better treated rival.
At his best on a soft surface and some promise in his Thirsk return. Down a further 2lb and the market is often positive ahead of his better runs.
C&D winner who has been below his best this term but gets his ground today. 2lb above his last winning mark and capable claimer on board.
Tough veteran has dropped to a mark 1lb above his last turf success which came over C&D. Probably better at a less competitive level than this nowadays.
Landed back to back races last autumn but has been a long way below those levels since and weighted accordingly.
All eight of his career victories have come on the AW and this veteran has failed to beat a rival on his last two starts.

John Quinn is an infrequent visitor here so it is interesting that he sends BENJAMIN THOMAS from his Yorkshire base. Soft ground is key to him and he can give a good account off an attractive mark. Last year's winner Kinglami should give his usual solid performance on a track where he excels, whilst the forecast conditions should see improved performances from Field Of Vision and Champagne Bob.
