Free going sort who will be more at home on this surface than on turf the last twice. Has won over C&D four times in the past, the latest of which was off this mark. Chances from a good draw on the inside.
5lbs higher than when winning over C&D for the second time back in February. Largely consistent since and has a decent draw today. Chances once again.
0/10 on turf now and is a better performer on this surface. Feeling is that is trip slightly stretches his stamina although he has won over C&D. Riders claim will help and another with chances from a good draw.
Both career victories have come on the Fibresand at Southwell. 5lbs higher than for latest of those and disappointing at Musselburgh (7f, good) last time. Needs to do more.
Winner of 13 races during a long career, but was not in the greatest of form over C&D when last seen in February. May need this run but is feasibly handicapped on old form.
Tends to run his race off this sort of mark and has won round here four times in the past. No reason why he won't give it another good shot and be in the shake up once more.
10lb out of the handicap but went close at 100/1 over C&D two starts back. Could not back that up last time however and is largely inconsistent. Hard to fancy given in-and-out profile.
Dropped to a reasonable mark and was sent off favourite at Brighton (1m, good to soft) last month when well beaten. Needs to do much more but is capable and not discounted.
Not the most reliable but is on an attractive mark and has won round here. Maybe vulnerable to one or two in better from all the same and others preferred today.
First run for well over a year when making stable debut over C&D last month. She's dangerously well handicapped on her old form and would need consideration should the money come for her.
Badly out of form for previous trainer. Makes debut for new yard today that do very well with their recruits from elsewhere and she is on a dangerous mark given her maiden form in Ireland. Very interesting if money comes for her.
Sole victory in 27 starts came in selling company as a juvenile. Shown very little the last twice and is impossible to fancy at present.
Forecasts
Sir Lancelott (4/1), Scotch Myst (9/2), Herm (9/2), Lucky Lodge (5/1), False Id (13/2), Black Truffle (8/1), Quina Brook (16/1), Corporal Maddox (28/1), Les Gar Gan (40/1), Tisa River (40/1), Fossa (50/1), Whispering Wolf (100/1)
False ID is potentially on a good mark and is a player here. Sir Lancelott generally runs his race and will be a force once again. Lucky Lodge and Herm both warrant respect from good draws but we are going to take a chance with QUINA BROOK to come out on top. Today is her first start for Ivan Furtado and she is on an attractive mark based on her maiden form in Ireland. Any market support would only boost claims.
- Quina Brook
- False Id
- Sir Lancelott
