Hunter chase winner over an extended 2m4f at Kempton (good) last month and was narrowly beaten by Royalraise at Towcester (good-to-firm) subsequently. Represents a leading yard in this contest.
Followed up a third at Southwell (good) in April by seeing off today's rival Port Melon over an extended 3m at Towcester (good-to-firm) last time out. Likely to run well once more.
Four-time Open winner in point-to-point's this season including on good ground over 3m5f at Heslaker on his penultimate start. More needed if he's to take this however.
Intermediate winner at Vauterhill (good-to-soft) earlier this month and subsequently finished runner-up in a maiden hunter chase at Fontwell (good). This looks a much stronger contest.

Forecasts
Royalraise (5/4), Port Melon (11/8), Garde Ville (11/2), Hinxworth (12/1), Barrington Bolt (66/1)
ROYALRAISE can repeat his Towcester victory by seeing off Port Melon once more. The selection had Paul Nicholls' charge a nose back in second when winning that day and the pair look likely to dominate this contest. Garde Ville has been in good form in point-to-point company and he can take third.
- Royalraise
- Port Melon
- Garde Ville
