Won at Chelmsford (1m2f, AW) two starts back before getting hampered over the same trip at Goodwood (good to soft) three weeks ago. Return to this surface is a positive and every chance he could bounce back.
Has really struggled in two handicaps so far and opening mark may have flattered him. Tongue tie added to the blinkers here but needs to do more to be involved.
Unplaced on all four starts as a juvenile but minor improvement at Lingfield on return last month. Very disappointing at Chester three weeks ago and needs to step up on that.
Lots of promise on debut at Goodwood but things have not panned out as planned since then. Goes up significantly in trip for handicap debut and likely to be a different proposition altogether. Yard won this last year.
Likely to be suited by this switch to handicap company after three similar efforts so far. On a workable mark and top rider booked. Dangerous to dismiss.
Beaten 29L in both her last two starts is a worry. Possible excuses having not handled Brighton and soft ground on return at Haydock (1m) last time. Should strip fitter and takes marked step up i trip but others preferred.
Three similar efforts in novice/maiden company. Likely to be suited by this step up in trip on handicap debut and Ryan Moore is booked. Every chance there will be plenty more to come this year and a big player.
A chance can be given to a few of these. Zilara will surely do better at some point and should improve now handicapping for a yard that won this race last year. Similar comments apply to Lucky Lover Boy who should also progress. Preference in the finale is for DUBAI FRAME who is bred for this sort of trip and is very interesting on handicap debut with Ryan Moore booked.
