Gelded son of Paco Boy and a half-brother to useful Flat and jumps performer Charm School. 33/1 when hooded for a promising debut in a weaker race than this and should improve.
Well beaten on both his career starts and not much promise at Navan last time out. Handicaps look like a more likely winning route.
Invincible Spirit colt, cost €750,000 as a yearling. Full-brother to a Group 2 winner amongst others. Very promising debut and likely to build on that for a yard in good form of late. Leading contender.
Well beaten on both her starts, still looked a little green at Cork last time. Others more likely.
Some promise on debut at Limerick but missed the break at Sligo last time and showed very little. Others preferred.
Invincible Spirit colt, cost €200,000 as a yearling. Full-brother to two winners and dam a Listed winner. Ran well at Dundalk on debut when runner-up and produced a similar effort when fourth of 14 at Navan last time. Each-way claims again.
Showed very little on both career starts and yard's runners are running a little below form in recent weeks. Ought to be capable of better at some stage. Handicaps may see him to better effect.
Mastercraftsman colt, dam a Listed winner over sprint trips. Well bred and makes some each-way appeal here.
Vocalised colt related to multiple winners and picked up for relatively small money. Looked more of a long term prospect at Killarney on debut earlier this month.
His half-sister Falafeena (also trained by Pat Flynn) was a speedy sort but there's also stamina on the dam's side. Too green on debut but likely to do better here.
Foxwedge colt cost connections 21,000 gns as a yearling. Has struggled on both his starts to date including when well beaten at Cork last time out when fifth of seven. Hard to fancy.
Forecasts
Mayaadeen (8/13), Rapture's Delight (9/4), Smart Craft (14/1), Descendant (16/1), Take A Nap (20/1), Manfadh (25/1), Whatharm (33/1), Signing Off (50/1), Mr Whoppit (50/1), Mooborak (66/1), Whispering Paddy (66/1)
MAYAADEEN looks like the one they all have to beat in here and this expensive purchase ran well on debut. Descendant produced a promising debut back in March and is respected but Rapture's Delight could be the main danger and brings a useful level of form in to this.
