Landed a 16/1 shock in the Grade B Pat Taafe handicap chase at Punchestown last month and is entitled to make the shortlist off a 6lb higher mark.
C&D winner fell in the Irish national last month before a 59L defeat here on his last start in April. Plenty to prove in this contest.
Ticks all the ground, class and course boxes here and was last seen winning a Kilbeggan handicap chase earlier this month off a 7lb lower mark. Tough ask but definite place claims.
Course winner who appeared to slightly lose his way at the end of a modest summer jumping campaign last year. Jockey booking a positive but still plenty to prove.
Nothing of any note and well beaten in two below-par starts since returning to the track in April at Punchestown and Killarney. Claims on best form but still a tall order on current mark.
Popular veteran who was last seen over the larger obstacles winning a Cork handicap in January off an 8lb lower mark. Others preferred.
Course winner earlier this month when landing a handicap chase off a 5lb lower mark over 2m3½f with Spancil Hill back in second. Well beaten since at Kilbeggan and this looks a tough ask.
Winner of a Punchestown handicap chase earlier this month on good ground over 2m. The 9lb hike in the weights looks big enough to stop the gelding here.
Unable to halt the alarming slide in form since August last year in four dismal performances. Very little to be positive about.
Has shown hints of ability in races over hurdles and fences, securing his opening success when landing a beginners' chase at Wexford last May before winning once again at Limerick off a 11lb lower mark. Hard to fancy.
His win in a Listowel chase in September looks a long way off here suffering a series of heavy defeats since. First-time blinkers unlikely to bring the required improvement here.
Won a Fairyhouse beginners chase last month to land an 80/1 shock before being brought back to reality when well beaten at Punchestown earlier this month. Another shock unlikely in this contest.
Failed to build on a promising second of nine ½L behind Kylecrue at Listowel in September with a number of disappointments since over hurdles and the larger obstacles. Best avoided at the moment.
Has continued his improvement winning a Leopardstown handicap chase in March beating nine rivals over 2m5½f on yielding ground. Raised a further 9lb for his last win and entitled to be on the shortlist.
Beaten favourite last time out when finishing second of 10 beaten 1½L behind Amaulino. Improving sort and likely to come on for that run.
Cheekpieces appeared to work the oracle for the J P McManus owned veteran when winning a Limerick handicap chase last month before a promising second of nine at Roscommon earlier this month. Another bold show likely.

SPIDER WEB has continued his improvement winning a Leopardstown handicap chase in March beating nine rivals over 2m5½f and there is plenty to like about the Thomas Mullins trained gelding by Presenting. Noel Meade has worked the oracle with the eight-year-old Net D'Ecosse who can continue his improvement here along with the interesting Kaiser Black who deserves consideration in this contest.
