Winner of a York maiden on debut and held his own in Group company subsequently. Likely to be capable of more improvement this year.

Improved from a win at Yarmouth to finish a respectable fifth in last year's Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster. Form of that race has obviously been done plenty of favours since by the 2,000 Guineas and Dante winners so good chance he can play a part.

A winner at Kempton on second start and placed at Chelmsford last time. Much more needed here though and no obvious signs he can make his presence felt at this level.

33/1
Course winner on his second start but struggled at pattern level subsequently, including on return last time out. First-time blinkers need to bring about plenty of improvement.
Intello colt whose dam was 7f winner (including as juvenile), from family of Cheveley Park winner Regal Rose. Impressive winner on debut at Yarmouth when making all and likely significant his trainer drops in at this level on return. Should go well.

Narrolwy denied when favourite for his debut at Newmarket but made no mistake at Windsor on return, winning by an impressive 4½L. Plenty to like about the way he did that and likely to be more to come.

Improved from debut to win at Redcar in October and while he was well beaten on return in Listed class, he shaped like he needed the run. May be capable of better.

A winner on debut and returned to form with a good second over C&D last time. More needed up in this class though.

4/6
Well bred sort and a winner of both of his first two starts with 6L success on each run. Still completely unexposed and the one to beat in here for top connections.

Forecasts

Without Parole (4/6), Gabr (7/1), Stephensons Rocket (8/1), Vintager (12/1), Silver Quartz (12/1), Regal Reality (14/1), Dream Today (14/1), Glendevon (25/1), Petrus (33/1)

Verdict

WITHOUT PAROLE could still be anything at this point in his career and given his first two wins have been in such comfortable fashion, he could be hard to beat here. Gabr ran well in the Racint Post Trophy last year and will appreciate the drop in class while stablemate Regal Reality isn't ruled out with significant improvement likely and Ryan Moore in the saddle.
  1. Without Parole

  3. Regal Reality
